This page attempts to document the full history of the textures of items, their additions, changes and removals. This page only documents items which have specific item textures (such as beds and doors) - items which use 3D models of the block they represent, as well as items which are the 2D texture of the block in question, are not documented here but rather at history of textures/Blocks.

Beta 1.7.3 (Vanilla)
Beta 1.7.4_01		Added textures for Steel armor and tools, Steel Ingot, Nether Coal, and multiple Music Discs.
Beta 1.7.4_02		Added textures for the Fireball and Crude Steel.
Beta 1.7.5	1.7.5 Prerelease 1	Added textures for Mithril tools, two Mithril textures, Chainlinks, Cloth, Golden Arrows, Explosive Charges and the Hand Cannon.
	1.7.5 Prerelease 2	Added textures for the Golden Quiver and empty Quiver. Changed the textures of Steel tools, shears, compass, Arrow, Quiver and the Hand Cannon. Removed the diamond shaped mithril texture.
Beta 1.7.5_01		Added textures for the Purple Arrow. Changed the textures of shears and compass back, and changed Steel armor and tools.
Beta 1.7.6	1.7.6 Snapshot 21w34a	Added textures for the Rotary Calendar, Iron Nuggets, Gold Nuggets and diamond nuggets.
	1.7.6 Snapshot 21w36a	Added textures for Olivine and Quartz. Removed the diamond nugget texture.
	1.7.6 Snapshot 21w36b	Changed the textures of iron and gold nuggets.
	1.7.6 Prerelease 1	Added textures for Cherries, Pebbles and the Bucket of Ice Cream. Changed the textures of Olivine, Quartz and the iron and gold nuggets.
	1.7.6 Prerelease 3	Added the textures for Charcoal and Pumpkin Pie. Changed the texture of the Fireball.
