Minecraft Beta 1.7.5 was a major update to Main Page released on August 20, 2021, which added labyrinths, armored zombies, quivers, and much more.

Additions

Blocks

Motion Sensor

• Actives redstone when it views any entity, whether it's the player, mob or a block drop
• Can only be found in dungeoens

Items

Hand Cannon

• Found in labyrinths or crafted with oak logs, steel and a bow.
• Shoots Explosive Charges.
• Needs to be reloaded before firing.

Explosive Charge

• Crafted with string, iron and gunpowder.
• Used as ammo for the Hand Cannon, or can be shot out of dispenser.
• Deals explosive damage and massive knockback.
• Explosion doesn't destroy blocks.

Quiver

• Crafted with leather, string and cloth.
• Equipped on the chestplate slot.
• Can hold 3 stacks of arrows.

Golden Quiver

• Special labyrinth loot that grants the wearer infinite purple arrows.
• Equipped on the chestplate slot.

Arrow

• Arrow that shoots through multiple targets.
• Found in labyrinths and can be crafted with gold and arrows.
• Deals 2 damage or 1 heart.

Purple Arrow

• Not obtainable, only exists as entity form.
• Fired from the golden quiver, deals 1 damage or half a heart.

Cloth

• Drops from zombies.
• Used to craft beds and quivers.

Chainlinks

• Drops from armored zombies and found in labyrinth chests
• Used to repair chain armor

Mobs

Armored Zombie

• Spawns from labyrinth-exclusive mob spawners.
• Wears chain armor and sometimes wields an iron sword.
• Drops chainlinks on death.

World Generation

Labyrinths

• Giant underground mazes filled with traps.
• Changes types depending on what biome it generates in.
• Contains zombie, spider, skeleton and armored zombie spawners.
• Contains spike traps, spawner rooms and motion detector traps.

General

• Slime chunks now drip slime particles from the ceiling.

Blocks

Dirt Path

• Now have a side texture.

Wooden Doors, Iron Doors

• Stack to 64 now.

Pistons, Sticky Pistons

• Can now crush blocks when placed in-between obsidian.
• Used to collect blocks that normally break when mined, like ice and glass.

Spikes

• Default position changed to spikes out, redstone retracts the spikes.

Items

Leather Boots

• No longer trample crops when worn.

Chain Armor

• Can be obtained in labyrinths, and be repaired with chainlinks.
• Depending on durability level can craft down into chainlinks.

Tools

• Axes are now effective against leaves, breaks them instantly.

Bow

• Position in hand has been changed.

Mobs

Zombies

• Now drop cloth instead of feathers.

Cows

• Buffed leather drop rate from 0-3 to 1-5.

Hostile mob spawning

• Largely been reworked.
• Difficulty now determines the frequency that mobs spawn at.
• On Easy and Normal, mobs now only spawn in complete darkness (light level 4 and below), but in greater numbers.
• As a result, open skies at night are now much safer, while shaded areas such as forests at night are now much deadlier.
• On Hard, mob spawning follows vanilla rules (light level 8 and below).

Entities

Boats

• No longer break upon block collision.
• Controls and handling have been improved.

Gameplay

• Added new achievements.
• Shift clicking has been improved.
• Portals can be any size and shape.

General

• Skins have been re-added.
• Redirected game files to .minecraft-bta.

Bugs

Fixes

• Ore overlays and dirt paths now render properly in old lighting.
• Sugarcane can now be placed on sand.
• Nerfed moss spreading.
• Blocks can be placed on tall grass.
• Bit depth fix.
• Fixed door redstone behavior.
• Slabs can now be placed on slabs without the block above being empty.
• Bookshelves now drop themselves.
• Mob spawners now render the correct entity in their cage.
• Mobs are more optimized in multiplayer.

Trailer

The official trailer for 1.7.5 was released on User:Skydeckagogo's personal YouTube channel on August 20th, 2021, the same day as the version was released. It is currently unlisted.
