Cherries are an item that can be used for food, healing the player by 1 heart of health when eaten. They can be stacked up to 2 and are used in the recipe for Bucket of Ice Cream.

Obtaining

Cherries can be harvested from Flowering Cherry Leaves by right-clicking, which appear on Cherry Trees during the spring.
