7.1 is an upcoming major update to Better than Adventure! set to release in December 15, 2023.^[1]^[2] Notable features from the update include a guidebook overhaul and new blocks.

Confirmed features

Guidebook
- Revamped.
- Now, along with recipes, it also includes information about trommeling and entities.
- The player may press R on an item in their inventory to see recipes for that item or U to see recipes that use the item.^[3]
- It is now possible to search for recipes.^[4]
Jars
- Empty jars can now be placed down.^[5]
- Flowers, mushrooms, and saplings can now be placed in jars as decoration.^[5]

Trivia

This is the first version to remove the leading "1.7." from the naming scheme. This is because it is redundant, as it will never change.
