A block of olivine is a mineral block made from Olivine, that can be used as a fuel.
Obtaining
Breaking
Blocks of olivine drops itself when mined by any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe it drops nothing.
Crafting
Usage
Blocks of olivine are often used to store Olivine in a compact fashion, or otherwise used as a fairly cheap construction block.
Smelting
Can be used in a regular furnace or a Blast Furnace to smelt 16 items. As of 1.7.6.2_02, the Block of Olivine is bugged to only smelt 12 items.

Block of olivine can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass drum" sound.
