The Hand Cannon is a ranged weapon that shoots Explosive Charges.

Usage
Weapon
The hand cannon can be loaded and then fired by pressing right click. In order to do this, the player must have at minimum, a single explosive charge in their inventory. When fired, the loaded charge will instantly fire from the player in an arc. The range is about 7-8 blocks if the player is looking completely straight. It's damage is dependant on entity's distance to the centre of the explosion, on direct hits it does 10 (5 hearts) damage. The explosion radius is 5 blocks*.

Blast Jumping
The hand cannon's blast, just like any explosion, will push away entities, this includes the player. This, along with the blast protective benefits of steel armour, allows the player to safely propel themselves around 4.5 blocks into the air when blasting off the ground, and even higher when used against the side of a surface.
