Minecraft Beta 1.7.5_01 was a minor update to Main Page released on August 25, 2021, which fixes bugs and slightly re-balances the game.

Changes

Items

• Golden Quiver arrows now deal slightly less damage than regular arrows
• Golden Quiver arrows now break on impact with the ground
• Changed Flint and Steel's name to "Fire Striker" to avoid confusion
• Items can pass through spikes

Blocks

• Chests below other chests can now be opened
• Shift clicking on a block now avoids interacting with it
• Legacy slabs are now labelled "steps" to distinguish them from the new ones

Crafting

• Crafting mesh blocks now yields 8

Texture

• Steel item textures now match better

Bugs

Fixes

• Slabs no longer suffocate mobs and players in multiplayer
• Crushing blocks now yields the correct variant
• Fixed numerous language bugs
• Fixed missing pixels in compass texture
