21w47 is the second snapshot for BTA 1.7.7, released on November 30th, 2021, which adds in a lot of new blocks, items and balance changes
Additions[edit | edit source]
Items[edit | edit source]
- Label that allows you to name items and mobs, and stops mobs despawning
- Iron Arrow that's slower but hits harder
- Steel Bow that can be charged up before firing for more range and damage
- Spinifex Fiber, dropped by spinifex and used for crafting baskets
- Braziers that can be lit with a fire striker and put out by right-clicking with an empty hand
Armour[edit | edit source]
- Bolt boots that allow you to dash, Celeste-style, while wearing them
- Leather armour now adds extra inventory slots
- Protection is no longer tied to durability! Instead, protection strength is dependant on armour type (e.g. boots, or chestplate) and what type of armour it is (e.g. diamond or leather)
- Each armour set now has its own strengths and weaknesses
- Leather and chainmail currently offer weak/mid all-around protection
- Iron protects strongly against projectile damage, but protects less against blast damage
- Diamond protects strongly against melee damage, but protects less against projectile damage
- Steel protects strongly against blast damage, but protects less against melee damage
Blocks[edit | edit source]
- Baskets that collect items that fall into them and can be emptied via right-click
- Buoy, which rises in water and falls in air and can be stood on
Commands[edit | edit source]
- Added "/time freeze" and "/time unfreeze" commands
World Generation[edit | edit source]
- New "Single Biome" world setting
- New "Generator" world setting - specifies the generator to use. Supports "Overworld", "Retro", "Classic", "Flat", "Nether", "Paradise", "Biospheres"
- New "Chunk Limit" world setting for finite worlds
- New "Vanilla-ish", "Classic", and "Mega-Caves" world types
- World types can now provide defaults for the rest of the world settings
- Overgrown Grass, which looks like a full block of grass on all sides

- "/fullbright" now visually resembles lighting in Minecraft Classic

- Animals now spawn on retro grass (whoops!)
