However, in BTA, you'll have to face the monsters of the night in order to get the final resource necessary to craft a bed: cloth. If you aren't confident in your skill, you may be better off mining throughout the night to gather better gear. However, if you are confident, find some zombies that have spawned during the night and kill them with your sword to gather cloth!
