Next, start making farmland by right clicking grass or dirt blocks while holding your hoe. Notice that some of the patches of farmland are a darker brown color. These blocks are hydrated, and won't dry out. Crops planted on them will grow significantly faster than crops grown on dehydrated farmland. Hydration will automatically spread over time if water is near your farmland. | |||
