Gold ore is a block that drops raw gold ore when mined.
Variants of gold ore include Stone Gold Ore, Basalt Gold Ore, Limestone Gold Ore and Granite Gold Ore.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Gold ore deposits generate underground, replacing stone, basalt, limestone and granite. Gold ore generation occurs between Y=1 and Y=31.
Mining
Raw Gold Ore can be obtained by mining gold ore with an iron pickaxe or higher. If mined with a lower pickaxe tier or without a pickaxe, it drops nothing. If mined with a golden pickaxe, it drops itself.
