Tool

From BTA-Mirror

Tools are items used by the player while selected in the hotbar to perform actions faster, to gather materials not obtainable by hand or to perform new actions. With the exception of the clock, compass and rotary calendar, tools do not stack.

Tools in Better than Adventure! work quite differently than in modern versions. In Better than Adventure!, every tool has a purpose delegated to its respective material (similarly to armor).
