Ice is a solid translucent block. It can slide all entities that are on ice.

Obtaining

Post-generation

Ice replaces any water sources without a block above it during the Winter when snowing. Ice will melt and turn into water sources if light level is at least 10 or when it turns to Spring if there is not a block above it.

Mining

Ice can be obtained by mining with a golden pickaxe. Mining with any pickaxe or by hand will drop nothing.
