1.7.5 Pre-1 is a prerelease for BTA 1.7.5, released on August 6, 2021.

World Generation

- Labyrinths! These sprawling dungeons feature greater challenge in exchange for unbelievable treasures.

- Slimy caves! Below a certain level, slime chunks will be literally dripping with ooze to help identify them more easily.

- Re-worked monster spawning! Hostile spawning light level is now tied to difficulty, with them spawning much more frequently at night on hard and normal. They also spawn at a lower light level in general (max 4 instead of 8).

Blocks

- Motion sensors! These new blocks emit a redstone signal when they spot someone - or something - move past.

- New and improved slabs! Notch's old slabs have undergone a complete rewrite, now supporting more blocks, improving behaviour, and adding the ability to be placed upside down.

- Brick slabs!

- Piston crushing! Putting a block between a piston and a block of obsidian will break it, dropping the block.

Mobs

- Armoured zombies! These fearsome opponents, clad in rusted chainmail, will prove a challenging fight for even the most prepared players.

Items

- Hand cannons! What happens when you fire a pellet packed with gunpowder out of a high-powered slingshot? At long last, we have an answer.

- Quivers! These extremely rare items provide a seemingly bottomless supply of arrows.

- Golden arrows! Channel your inner Robin Hood with these new projectiles that can fire right through enemies.

- Chainmail! Deep in the heart of labyrinths, the boldest players will be able to find chainmail gear, which has the unique property of being repairable.

- Cloth! Replacing feathers as the traditional zombie drop, cloth is now a vital component in crafting beds.

- Better boats! Tougher and more controllable boats for getting around the world easier.

Miscellaneous

- New achievements! Finally, be rewarded for your exploits.

- Bigger portals! Nether portals can now be as big (or as small) as you like.

- Skins! Flex your cool unique skin you paid some stranger $5 to make.

- Shift click! It's now possible to transfer fuel and items into furnaces by shift-clicking, as well as equipping armour via the same method.

- HD textures! You can now use 32x32 textures and beyond, so you can finally port that texture pack you like without the bricks being on fire.

- Safer crops! Wearing leather boots will stop crops being trampled underfoot.

- New logo! Show off the fact you're playing Better than Adventure.

- New splashes! The game now features over 100 community-written splashes on the main menu.

- Dirt paths now have a side texture! at long last!

- Doors can be stacked to 64!

- Axes break leaves fast as lightning! Good for cutting down those pesky big trees.
