Biome

Biomes are the different environments that can be found in the worlds of Minecraft. Better than Adventure! includes some biomes from the base game, but most biomes and their mechanics have been revamped or added.

	The Lie	Time to Farm!	Wheat, sugar, milk and eggs!	Craft a cake in the workbench with 3 wheat, 3 milk buckets, 2 sugar and 1 egg.
	Time to Strike!	Benchmarking	Use planks and sticks to make a sword	Craft a wooden sword in the workbench with 2 planks and 1 stick.
	Monster Hunter	Time to Strike!	Attack and destroy a monster	Kill any hostile mob.
	Hostile Spotted	Monster Hunter	Get detected by a motion detector	Move past a motion sensor.
	Armorsmith	Hostile Spotted	Repair a piece of chainmail	Repair any part of chainmail armor using chainlinks in the crafting grid.
	Chained Up	Armorsmith	Wear a set of fully repaired chainmail armor	Wear a set of chainmail armor, each with full durability.
	Cow Tipper	Time to Strike!	Harvest some leather	Obtain leather from the ground.
	When Pigs Fly	Cow Tipper	Fly a pig off a cliff	Ride a pig equipped with a saddle and fall from a height whilst riding the pig.
	Time to Mine!	Benchmarking	Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe	Craft a wooden pickaxe in the workbench with 2 sticks and 3 planks.
	Getting an Upgrade	Time to Mine!	Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe	Craft any pickaxe in the workbench above a wooden pickaxe.
	First Person Shooter	Getting an Upgrade	Craft a Hand Cannon	Craft a hand cannon in the workbench with 2 logs, 2 steel ingots and 1 bow.
	Icebreaker	Getting an Upgrade	Collect ice by crushing it between a block of obsidian	Crush ice using a piston next to it and obsidian behind it. Once the piston is powered, the ice will be destroyed and dropped.
	Neapolitan	Time to Mine!	Collect every variant of every stone type	Mine stone, basalt, limestone and granite.
	Hot Topic	Time to Mine!	Construct a furnace out of eight stone blocks	Craft a furnace in the workbench with 8 cobble.
	Delicious Fish	Hot Topic	Catch and cook a fish!	Smelt raw fish in a furnace to obtain cooked fish.
	Acquire Hardware	Hot Topic	Smelt an iron ingot	Smelt raw iron ore or any iron ore block in a furnace to obtain an iron ingot.
	On a Rail	Acquire Hardware	Travel by minecart at least 1km where you started	Ride a minecart over 1000 blocks in one direction.
	Caught Em' All	Benchmarking	Collect every color of firefly in a jar.	Collect all four colors of firefly in jars.
