Igniting[edit | edit source]

When used on any side of a block, it creates a fire.

A fire striker can be used for lighting an unlit Nether portal frame, as any fire existing in the portal frame will be replaced with Nether portal blocks in which it will activate the Nether portal.

TNT can be ignited by a fire striker, causing the block to explode and destroy nearby blocks.
