Chainlinks are used to repair damaged chainmail armor and make chainlink fences.
Obtaining Edit
Mob loot Edit
When armored zombies take damage, their armor breaks. Each time a piece of armor breaks there is a 50% chance for the armored zombie to drop a chainlink. This means each armored zombie can give between 0 and 4 chainlinks.
Spawner loot Edit
Chainlinks can be obtained by mining an armored zombie mob spawner with any pickaxe besides gold, yielding 10 to 30 chainlinks.
Crafting Edit
Chainlinks can be crafted by putting any piece of chainmail armor into a workbench. Chainmail armor gives 1 to 4 chainlinks each, depending on the durability.

Repairing Edit
Chainlinks can be used to repair chainmail armor by crafting a chainlink with it. The more chainlinks used to repair the armor, the more durability it receives.
