1.7.6 Pre-2a is a prerelease for BTA 1.7.6, released on September 27, 2021.

Changes

Blocks

• Reverted buggy chest placement logic.

• Made ores drop their stone variant.

• Fixed obsidian being able to be broken too quickly.

• Mesh blocks now produce 8 Meshes.

• Shrub leaves now drop shrub saplings.

• Painted chests under normal chests can now be opened.

World

• Reordered seasons so the game begins in spring.

• Readded bushy Taiga trees to taiga and boreal forests.

• Slightly changed meadow and boreal tree spread and generation. (now both only spawn bushy taiga trees)

• Made eucalyptus trees much bushier.

Miscellaneous

• Added multiplayer support! This includes a rewrite and internal merge of the client and server codebases, though this shouldn't affect the game whatsoever for players!

• Added HD font support.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed furnace and blast furnace behavior.

• Fixed guidebook rendering bugs.

• Fixed bug where the screen would flash and your air meter would keep getting refilled when underwater.

• Fixed beds and paintings only being able to be made out of white wool.

• Fixed golden arrows confusing enemies.

• Fixed a crash involving converting a jukebox.
