The Nether
The Nether
An uninhabitable infernal world, the nether is a lifeless, dangerous place to be. Only featuring the Zombie Pigmen and Ghasts in its current iteration, this barren world of caves does not have too much in it, aside from its deposits of Nether Coal, Glowstone, and oceans of deadly lava. The nether is at a 1/8th scale with the overworld, and is very useful as a method of fast-travel.
The Nether is a hot, hell-like dimension accessed via a Nether portal. It does not feature any living mobs or plants, only being inhabited by the undead zombie pigmen and ghasts. Notable resources include Nether coal and glowstone. Vast lava oceans spawn near the bottom of the world.

In the Nether, one block traveled is equivalent to eight blocks traveled in the Overworld. This allows for faster transportation via portal.

To access the Nether, the player must create a Nether portal. A notable difference from vanilla Minecraft's Nether portals is the corners must be filled in. The Nether portal can then be lit using any fire striker.

In order to reach the nether, you must build a hollow rectangle of obsidian with the corners filled in, and use a fire striker to activate it.
An upcoming area underneath the current Nether called the Warrens is currently planned. It will consist of many tunnels. The Warrens will be accessible by mining through a hard layer of blocks or via a quarry structure.

In the future, there will be a new area directly underneath the nether: the warrens. This area will be comprised of a labyrinthine network of tunnels. Due to an incredibly hard layer between the warrens and the standard nether, it is ideal to locate a Quarry, an upcoming structure that has a hole connecting to the warrens.

Another area above the Nether known as the “Oldworld” has been discussed, but it’s implementation is not yet confirmed.

Paradise
Paradise
Paradise is a planned dimension for a future version, there is a very incomplete placeholder in the game currently. In its current iteration it is a world using the floating island generation, with no mobs naturally spawning in it.
Paradise is a planned dimension for a future version. It currently exists only as a placeholder using the floating islands generation setting, which can be accessed via Creative Mode. No mobs currently generate here.

This world has two seasons: “Gold” and “Silver”. These alternate every 28 days.

The dimension will likely have an inverted scaling compared to the Nether. To visit this dimension in its current iteration, make a portal out of glowstone, and light the inside with bedrock. Due to requiring bedrock it is only accessible in Creative Mode.Future plans for this dimension are vague, although this world will likely focus on exploration and contain structures and biomes.

The Paradise dimension can be accessed via Creative Mode by making a portal frame using Glowstone, then "lighting" the portal by placing bedrock inside the frame (likely a placeholder to prevent the unfinished dimension from being accessible in Survival Mode).Future plans for this dimension are vague, although this world will likely focus on exploration and contain new structures and biomes.
