Arrows, golden arrows and purple arrows are items used as ammunition for bows and dispensers. Arrows can deal 5 (♥) hearts to mobs when fired.
Golden arrows leave a golden particle trail after it is shot out of a bow. It flies about 2 times the distance and can pierce through multiple mobs as it travels, but does 2 () hearts instead of the normal arrow's 5 (
♥) hearts.
Purple arrows are unobtainable as an item and is used as ammunition when a golden quiver is equipped. Purple arrows shatter on impact and cannot be picked up. Purple arrows deal 2 () hearts to mobs.

Chest loot
Arrows can be found in chests inside dungeons and labyrinths. Arrows and, rarely, golden arrows can be found inside dispensers in labyrinths.
Usage
Arrows can be used as ammunition by a bow. When the bow is used, the arrow flies in a ballistic trajectory influenced by drag and gravity. When an arrow flies through fire or lava, the arrow catches on fire, setting fire on mobs that are damaged by the flaming arrow.
