Minecraft Beta 1.7.4_01
Minecraft Beta 1.7.4_01 is the first major version of Main Page, released on July 20, 2021. This update adds blast furnace, mesh blocks, spike traps, among others.

- Used for crafting steel tools, armor and blocks of steel.

- Has the highest durability out of all other tools, but mines only as fast as iron tools.
Changes
- Can connect to wooden blocks.
- Can be placed on any surface, from the bottom and sides of blocks.
- Pressure plates can be placed on it.
- Diamond tools
- Have slightly less durability, but now as efficient as gold tools.
- Renamed to dry sponge.
- Can now soak water, as it used to during classic.
- Rehydrates after use.
Miscellaneous changes
- Some items are no longer enlarged when dropped.
- Some blocks can be mined efficiently with the right tools.
- Stairs now drop themselves instead of their respective block.
Bug fixes
- Changed the download server to a working proxy, so all classic sounds will work properly again.
- Fixed outdated login authentication. Servers will no longer need to be in offline mode for players to log in, but that also means unauthenticated accounts can no longer connect to servers.
- Including some more fixes.
