Mud is found abundantly in swamplands near oceans.

Mining hydrated farmland by hand or with any shovel drops mud.
Usage[edit | edit source]
If a block beneath mud is removed, after 2 seconds it will fall until it lands on another block. If the block lands on a block without a top solid surface, it will drop itself.

Farming[edit | edit source]
Mud has the ability to grow saplings and mushrooms under specific conditions.
